in Barcelona

 "Guardians of Cacao"

We are overjoyed to announce this collaboration with our FRIZZANT friends.

After years running Cacao Ceremonies in this beautiful space in the city of Barcelona we feel ready to bring the community of Cacao lovers to the next step of the journey and offer a

4 modules Cacao Training Course in English

April - July 2026

BOOK HERE

The Course:

This is a course designed to learn and practice the ways of Cacao and the facilitation of ceremonies over 4 months. If taking 4 days of retreat in the forest feels like too much, we are now offering the possibility to meet in the city 1 Saturday every month between April and July (see exact dates below).

This is not only a more simple and easier way to make this happen into your life, but also creates the space in between the modules to integrate, practice and evolve the teachings and insights learnt with every session.

This course will guide you into strengthening the bridge between Cacao and you, to create the foundations of an honest and pure relationship that allows you to confidently share the Cacao medicine with your community.

Cacao will guide and sustain us through the four month journey of discovering who you really are. By embarking on this path together, you are ready to leave behind what doesn’t serve you and to embrace the new future with clarity and a sense of responsibility towards the ancient and timeless wisdom.

The Facilitators:

CARLOTA AMARGÓS

Carlota is a classical violinist, vegan chef, co-founder of Amara Valley and director of Agni Festival. She is fascinated by beauty and coherence in every aspect of the human experience. For the past 10 years she has been immersed in personal work with Cacao medicine and ceremony. Her attention to detail reflects in every aspect of her art, teaching and being. She has travelled the 5 continents learning from great teachers, exploring the global transformational festival scene and meeting inspiring people that have influenced her offerings. In 2018 she created Amrita Cacao, her personal project born from the clear guidance of the plant medicine itself speaking in ceremony.  Soon after that she settled in Amara Valley, living off-grid in a community and retreat centre that strives to be a pioneer in regenerative culture, sustainability and artistic development through movement, knowledge sharing and ceremony.

MARC TORRANO

Marc is a passionate cacao entrepreneur and the founder of The Cacao Society, a project born from curiosity and a deep respect for the cacao plant. His work centers around connecting people with the richness of cacao through curated tastings, bean-to-bar chocolate experiences, and handcrafted ceremonial tools. As part of this journey, Marc will be sharing a lot about the history, process and current trends of Cacao

TAMAR ST CLAIR

Tamar St Clair is an multi-disciplinary artist with Ngāi Tahu Māori NZ, French-Polynesian and European roots based in Tamariu. She is a passionate “singer for life” and a mentor for students around the world who search to find and empower their unique voices through diverse mediums. She gives workshops, performs concerts and sings for rituals, ceremonies and cross-cultural events internationally. Over four decades, Tamar has invested herself greatly to learn about music, inner freedom and authentic expression, specializing in the voice. Following in the footsteps of her ancestors and great teachers (such as Anna Halprin), Tamar shares the lineage of respecting the connection to life and honouring the innate creative super powers we all have.

The Venue:

Frizzant is an urban oasis where you can reconnect through gastronomy, creativity, and yoga in Barcelona. The convenience of the central location, the beauty of the facilities and the warm feeling of the staff makes it a perfect home for this course. And we feel especially grateful and lucky to be the first ones to inaugurate the new Frizzant Studio space, located 8' away from the original Frizzant, hidden in a pedestrian street off the main road, we will have the privilege to have a completely private space for our course with access to a garden. This will help the work of reconnection with oneself and nature that Cacao offers and allow us to go deeper into the work of each module.
